FELICITATION CEREMONY

Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women's College (Autonomous), Manjeri, organised a felicitation ceremony to honour Dr. A. K. Shahina Mol, Head of the PG and Research Department of English, on her nomination by the Government of Kerala to the Senate and the Syndicate of the University of Calicut. 

The programme was jointly organised by the college management, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students.

The function, held at the college's C.H. Auditorium, was presided over by Janab Syed Munawwar Ali Shihab Thangal, President of the College Governing Body. In his presidential address, he stated that Dr. Shahina Mol's outstanding academic achievements and her appointment to the University's governing bodies are a matter of great pride for the institution.

The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, delivered the welcome address. Adv. U. A. Latheef, General Secretary of the College, delivered the keynote address.

Greetings and felicitations were offered by Er. O. Abdul Ali, College Manager; Janab Muhammed Alias Nani,  Joint Secretary, College Management Committee, Dr. N. V. Fatimathu Zuhara, IQAC Coordinator; Dr. Haris U., Staff Club Secretary; Mr. Yunus T. P., Non-Teaching Staff Club Secretary; Mr. Anwar Sadath, PTA Vice President; Ms. Fathimathul Busthana, College Union Vice Chairperson; and Ms. M. K. Vineetha, Assistant Professor, Department of English.

Responding to the felicitation, Dr. A. K. Shahina Mol expressed her heartfelt gratitude to  everyone who supported her throughout her academic journey and dedicated the honour to the collective efforts of the institution. Further, she motivated the students to pursue their goals with consistency, dedication, and perseverance. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Shabeermon. M., FYUGP Coordinator.
