THE FIRST CHAPTER

FYUGP Academic Committee, K.A.H.M Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri, organised the institutional-level inauguration of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) for the academic year 2026–27 as part of the state-level launch of the programme. The event, titled “The First Chapter,” was held at Aryabhata Hall on Thursday, july 1, 2026. FYUGP College Coordinator Shabeermon M welcomed the gathering, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammad Basheer Ummathoor presided over the function. In his address, he explained the academic opportunities offered by the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme and highlighted its student-centred approach in line with the National Education Policy.
Risvana Sadik Koolamadathil, Chairperson of the Health Standing Committee of Manjeri Municipality, inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the growing opportunities available to women in higher education and the important role of educational institutions in social development. Engineer O. Abdul Ali, College Manager; Najmuddin, PTA Executive Member; Dr. Aswathi P., IQAC Assistant Coordinator; Dr. Usman A., Staff Club President; Yunus T.P., NTS Secretary; and Fathima Busthana, Students’ Union Vice Chairperson, offered their felicitations. Dr. Tasneem P., member of the FYUGP Academic Committee, delivered the vote of thanks. Parents, Faculty members and students attended the programme, which marked the beginning of the academic journey of the new FYUGP batch
