Internal Evaluation Cell
Internal Examination Cell: Functions and Mechanism - The Internal Examination Cell (IEC) serves as the central authority for managing all internal assessments, ensuring alignment with the guidelines set by the University of Calicut. The IEC is responsible for preparing and publishing internal exam schedules, designing question papers, and overseeing the entire process of printing and distribution. It ensures smooth conduct of exams by monitoring compliance with established procedures and oversees timely evaluation and accurate grading. Internal grades are published on notice boards and online portals, with comprehensive records maintained. The cell addresses grievances through departmental committees and the grievance redressal cell. Internal evaluations, based on attendance, tests, seminars and assignments follow a systematic and transparent grading process. Verified scores are submitted to the University Examination portal.
