C-Zone Kalolsavam “Kalappuram 2026”

The students of K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, participated with great enthusiasm and commitment in the C-Zone Kalolsavam “Kalappuram 2026”, conducted from 21st to 25th January 2026 at PPTM Arts and Science College, Cheroor, Nengara. The event witnessed vibrant cultural participation from 122 colleges affiliated to the University of Calicut in Malappuram District, making it a highly competitive and enriching cultural platform.

Our students showcased their artistic talents across a wide range of events, reflecting creativity, teamwork, and cultural excellence. Fathimathul Aslamiyya, a Third Year UG student, secured Third Place in Poster Making, marking a notable achievement for the institution.

Apart from this prize-winning performance, students actively participated in several cultural and literary events, including:

* Mime

The performances reflected the collective hard work, dedication, and disciplined preparation of the students, supported actively by the Union members and teachers. Though the results are not the sole measure of success, the enthusiastic participation and confident performances of our students stood as a true testament to their artistic spirit and cultural engagement.

The entire programme was carried out under the guidance and leadership of  Fine Arts Secretary Ms. Binsida,Fine Arts Directors Dr. Hikmathulla V and Mrs. Jaseena, along with the committed support of the Haya Students’ Union of Unity Women’s College.

The C-Zone Kalolsavam “Kalappuram 2026” proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience for our students, reinforcing values of unity, creativity, and cultural diversity. The event motivated participants to strive for greater excellence in future cultural endeavours, reaffirming that participation, learning, and cultural expression are more important than competition results
