MENSTUAL HYGIENE AWARENESS SESSION PERIOD WITH PRIDE, HYGIENE WITH DIGNITY: GRAND DISTRIBUTION OF MENSTRUAL CUP

A special programme ‘Period with Pride, Hygiene with Dignity: Grand Distribution Of Menstrual Cup’ was organized at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, in which menstrual cups were distributed to 1,000 girl students, making it one of the largest such distribution drives in the region. The event was conducted in collaboration with the KSWDC Women of KAHM Unity Women’s College, with active support from Merald Jewellers and Amora Healthtech.The programme was presided over by Abdul Jaleel Edathil, Chairman and Managing Director of Merald Jewellers, and was inaugurated by Deputy Collector Jayasree A. Directors of Amora Healthtech, Charls V. K. and Shaniba Palliyal, also attended as special guests. College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathoor, Manager Er. O. Abdul Ali, Women’s Cell Coordinator Suhada K. M., Women’s Cell Executive Member Dr. A. K. Shahinamol, and Union Chairperson Ayisha Liyana were present at the function.As part of the programme, Dr. Samroodh from Malabar Hospital led an awareness session on menstrual hygiene and the correct and safe use of menstrual cups under the theme “Period with Pride, Hygiene with Dignity.”
