Thakrithai Onam Celebration 2025

KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm at the college auditorium. The event brought together students, faculty, and esteemed guests to mark the auspicious occasion.The program began with a warm welcome note delivered by the Vice Chairperson, Ms. Shahana Sherin K.T. This was followed by the presidential address from the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Basheer Muhammed Ummathur.A special feature of the celebration was the presence of “Team Vala” ( the upcoming Malayalam movie) as part of their promotional program. The celebrity guests included Malayalam cine actor Lukman Avaran, who shared an Onam message. The team included veteran actor Abu Salim, who also spoke on the occasion. Producer Yusuf was also in attendance. The event also saw the presence of comedian and stage performer, cine artist Nawaz. Among those present were Yawar Abdel, the Kashmiri singer, and Sheetal, the young cine artist." The representatives of “ageless Beauty Parlour” were also present for the programme. The official Onam message was delivered by Ms. Maneesha, Assistant Professor at the college, bringing the spirit of the festival to life for all in attendance. Director of the movie, Mr. Muhasin too spoke during the event. The celebration was a vibrant display of culture and festivity, truly embodying the spirit of Onam. The official inauguration was followed by various programmes and competitions. The college community enjoyed a day of joy, and camaraderie, making it a memorable event for everyone involved.
