NAAC Mock Visit Begins at KAHM Unity Women’s College

Manjeri: The NAAC mock visit at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, commenced today, 13 March 2025, as part of the institution’s preparation for the upcoming NAAC accreditation process. Organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the initiative aimed to instill confidence, refine preparations, and identify areas for improvement. The peer team member, Dr Zakaria TV, NAAC Assessor and Former Principal, Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, visited various departments, starting with Chemistry and continuing through Botany, English, Commerce, Mathematics, Physical Education, Computer Science, History, Languages, Family and Community Science, Psychology, Zoology, and Physics. Faculty members actively participated in the interactions, engaging with the peer team member to showcase their academic and administrative strengths.

The visit to the departments facilitated critical self-assessment and constructive feedback, ensuring that departments are well-equipped for the official NAAC visit. The second day of the mock visit, scheduled for tomorrow, will focus on departmental presentations, presentations of principal and IQAC Coordinator,  and evaluations of various clubs and cells. Dr Muhammad Illyas P, NAAC Assessor & Principal, Sullamussalam Science College, Areekode will be joining the review process on the second day.
