College Annual Day (2024--2025)

Rather than judging the world as embittered critics, the new generation has to learn to spin more lasting bonds, says Adv. Fathima Thahliya during the inaugural ceremony at Korambayil Ahammed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. Zelinda Students’ Union College day “Malang” was conducted on February 28, 2025 at the College auditorium. 

The Annual day celebration of the College commenced with an Anti-drug pledge. The Principal , Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur presented the Annual  Report, highlighting Faculty and Student accomplishments, departmental initiatives, and Club activities. Union General Secretary, Ms. Fathima Yusra delivered a report on College Union activities, 
College Union Chairperson Ms. Fida delivered the Presidential address emphasizing the pivotal role of education in nurturing humanitarian values among students, particularly in today’s challenging societal landscape.
Staff Advisor,  Ms. Fathima Shajitha, Fine Arts Director, Dr. V. Hikmathullah, Manager, Er. O. Abdul Ali , IQAC coordinator, Dr. A.K. Shahina Mol, P.T.A Vice President, Mr. Hamza, Staff Representative, Mr. Muhammed Abdul Hakeem and Non Teaching Staff representative, Mr. Adam Tanari rendered their felicitation for the programme while IQAC Co-ordinator felicitated for their contributions. Ms. Haneena, P.G. Representative delivered the vote of thanks. 

The chief guest, Advocate and Muslim Youth League leader,  Ms. Fathima Thahliya, delivered a compelling address stressing the need for women’s voices to resonate widely. Thahliya also addressed pressing social concerns, such as the rising prevalence of drug abuse among youth and increasing incidents of violence. She stressed the need for collective action to instill humanitarian values and promote empathy in communities. 

The chief guest’s address was followed by Prize distribution to the students who excelled in their academic and extra/co curricular activities.The formal inauguration was followed by a spectacular cultural programme.
