Photography Club

The Photography Club at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri was established in 2022-23
academic year to provide a platform for students passionate about photography to explore,
learn, and excel in this visual art form.

Aim:

The aim of the Photography Club is to promote the art and science of photography among
students, encouraging them to express themselves artistically through visual storytelling and
to develop a keen eye for capturing moments.

Objectives/Scopes:

1. To conduct regular photography workshops and training sessions.
2. To organize photography exhibitions and competitions to showcase talent.
3. To collaborate with other clubs and societies for joint projects.
4. To participate in inter-college photography contests and events.

Mission

The mission of the Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for students who are interested in photography to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography. The club organizes events such as workshops, seminars, photo-walks, field trips, lectures, competitions, etc. Students in this club have opportunities to hone their skills by understanding and learning about what makes a good photograph, from composition to artistic expression.
