A two-day nature camp was conducted by Photography Club on 13th and 14th November 2022 under Nilambur Nature Education Centre, raising the theme ‘Living with Nature, Harmony with Nature’. A total of 44 students and 3 staff attended the camp. The camp was well organized by Mr. Jayaprakash Nilambur, Director, Nilambur Nature Education Centre. On the first day, students visited Nilambur Teak Museum. Students entered the camp centre, ‘Chanthrakantham’, by 3.30 pm. There were so many activities and classes on camp. Students enjoyed walking through the forest, river hiking, bathing in the river, ice-breaking sessions, classes related to nature and mainly the food served in the camp. It was an eco-friendly camp. On the second day, students visited Nedumkayam. By 2.00 pm, we returned to college. Club coordinator, Ms. Loosiya KP and Ayisha Anaina PK, Treasurer Photography Club, were the faculty and student coordinators of the camp respectively. Students get new information about nature and forests. They enjoyed the camp.
