‘ECO FASHION COMPETITION’
As part of Association programme PG Department of Home Science conducted ‘ECO FASHION COMPETITION on 3/08/2023 at NRSC. The programme was inaugurated by the head of the Department AS Anitha Begum. In the competition the students designed garments using jute,paper,banana fibers,leaves and flowers etc.The competition was judged and the winners was announced by Dr Annie Ninan and Dr. Fathimathu Zuhra. The basic purpose of the competition was to aware the students about environment friendly and more sustainable clothing.Eco-friendly fashion is a social and cultural movement within the fashion and clothing industry that aims to lower the environmental impact of the clothes industry.The programme was cordinated by association secretary Shahla.K and the faculty cordinator Mrs.Shahla Karuthedath.
