The Department of Botany at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, has been officially upgraded to a Research Department under the University of Calicut, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey. This prestigious recognition reflects the department's consistent commitment to academic excellence, quality research, and infrastructure development. Over the years, the department has actively engaged in postgraduate education, published impactful research in reputed journals, and organized numerous seminars, workshops, and conferences, including international events under the KSHEC-funded Erudite Scheme.
