Noctivore Food Exhibition
The PG department of Home Science conducted Nutrivora Food Exhibition as a part of National Nutrition Month Celebration on 20/09/2023. The programme was conducted for both the college students and mothers of preschoolers in Koolamadam anganwadi, Narukara. The postgraduate students of the department displayed different varieties of millets, their recipes, coconut oil cake products developed at the Home Science Innovation and Incubation Centre. A few varieties of nutrient rich green leafy vegetables were also displayed in the food expo. The programme was cordinated by Mrs.Noufiya (student coordinator)and Mrs. Shahla.K (faculty coordinator). The main aim of the event was to popularise millets and innovative nutritious low cost food products thereby promoting healthy eating.
