Alumni Lecture Series
On 9 th October 2023 the department of psychology conducted an alumni lecture series through Google meet at 8 pm on the topic “PG Entrance Preparation for Degree Students”. Fathima Shahma , an alumna (2020-2023 batch), currently pursuing her MA in Applied Psychology at Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi, delivered comprehensive and insightful event aimed at guiding undergraduate students towards successful postgraduate entrance exams. Fathima shared her experiences and strategies for effective PG entrance exam preparation. And also overview of various postgraduate entrance exams,emphasizing the importance of understanding the exam pattern and syllabus. The speaker shared the study techniques, time management strategies, and resources that aided them during their preparation.
The Session was interactive, Q&A sessions allowed students to directly interact with the alumni, seeking personalized advice and clarification on specific concerns. The students indicated a high level of satisfaction , with many expressing increased confidence and motivation for their upcoming PG entrance exams. Mrs Fathima Shirin K A ( Head. Department of Psychology) Ms.Naina Fathima ( student Vth sem Bsc psychology) were the coordinators of the program.
