World Disability Day
On December 7, 2023, first-year BSc Psychology students paid a meaningful visit to Pratheeksha Buds School in Velluvambram, marking World Disability Day. The visit was a poignant commemoration, as students engaged in a range of interactive activities with the school’s inmates. Promoting an atmosphere of inclusivity and joy, the students conducted fun-filled sessions that entertained and facilitated meaningful connections. The activities were carefully designed to cater to the diverse needs of the individuals at Pratheeksha Buds School, ensuring an inclusive and enriching experience for all. This visit provided the students with valuable hands-on exposure to the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and also highlighted the importance of empathy and understanding in the field of psychology.
