The Department of Psychology, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, in collaboration with Akam Mind Care conducted an orientation session titled “Exploring the Evolving Landscape of Mental Health” on 02 February 2026 at Aryabhatta Hall. The session handled by f Mr. Ali P, Consultant Psychologist and Deputy Officer, and Mr. Shahzad Bin Shakir, Consultant Psychologist and Chief Project Officer of Akam Mind Care Pvt. Ltd. The session focused on contemporary trends in mental health, emerging challenges, and the expanding scope of psychological services, providing students with valuable professional insights. The programme was well coordinated by Riya Fathima, VI Semester B.Sc. Psychology student, under the guidance of Ms. Maneesha K. P.,Assistant Professor and Head ( Ad hoc)  Department of Psychology.
