Department of Psychology

Overview

The Department of Psychology aims to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of scientific discipline of Psychology, opportunities for practical experience and growth in the understanding of self and others. Established in 2019, the department is actively involved in teaching and other activities. The department equips the student with skills to pursue research and extend their knowledge to community through field visits, camps and other extension activities. The department offers self-financing three-year BSc degree program in Psychology. The department is also equipped with a well-developed psychology lab.

The undergraduate areas of study include basic themes in psychology like perception, learning, intelligence, cognition, development psychology, social psychology, health psychology, abnormal psychology and psychological measurement and testing.
