“Opparam -Day 2”
The Department of Psychology at K.A.H. M Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized “Opparam” (Day 2 - 29/01/26) an interactive open discussion platform centered on the theme “Men’s Mental Health: A Silent Crisis.”The session aimed to highlight the often-overlooked mental health concerns of men and encouraged meaningful dialogue on stigma, emotional expression, and help-seeking behaviors. The discussion was coordinated by Faculty Coordinator Raha Suhood C (Assistant Professor Ad-hoc, Dept. of Psychology) and Student Coordinator Sakeena Raza (4th Semester BSc Psychology). The event provided a safe and supportive space for participants to share perspectives, raise awareness, and reflect on the importance of addressing men’s mental health in society.
