Odyssey
The Department of Psychology conducted a workshop on APA Referencing Style as part of ‘Odyssey’- Alumni lecture series 3 on 19th March 2025 at B209 classroom. The workshop was attended by second year and final year BSc Psychology students. The session was led by Sameeha K P, an alumna of the 2021-2024 batch, who is currently pursuing MSc Psychology at HM College of Science and Technology, Manjeri (Affiliated to the University of Calicut).
The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of APA (American Psychological Association) 7th referencing style, covering essential aspects such as in-text citations, reference list formatting, and citation of different sources including books, journal articles, and online materials. It was an interactive session where students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
As a token of appreciation and gratitude, the Head of the Department, Fathima Shirin K A, presented a memento to Sameeha K P for her valuable time and contribution. The session was informative and highly beneficial for the students, helping them attain the necessary skills for preparing research papers and academic assignments.
