On March 7, 2025, the Department of Psychology, in collaboration with Absolute Mind, organized a program focusing on
' women's empowerment and struggles of women' as part of women's day.The event featured Consultant Psychologist Mrs. Fathima Neha as the resource person.
Mrs. Fathima Neha delivered an insightful talk emphasizing the importance of mental health in women's empowerment. She discussed prevalent issues such as chronic stress, anxiety, and societal pressures that impede women's progress. Mrs. Neha also shed light on the alarming statistics from recent studies, indicating that nearly half of Indian woman experience chronic stress and suffering insomnia.The sessions encouraged self-reflection and provided strategies to overcome personal and professional challenges..The program coordinated by Ms Fathima Shirin K A and Fathima Nedha.
