A play in observance of Suicide Prevention Day.
On 11th September 2024, ten first-year BSc Psychology students organized a play in observance of Suicide Prevention Day. The play, themed “Changing the Narratives on Suicide,” was performed in front of the administrative block raised awareness about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention. In addition to the play, a candlelight vigil and a fingerprint support activity were held to commemorate those who have lost their lives to suicide. The vigil served as a heartfelt tribute, while the fingerprint activity symbolized the collective responsibility to support those struggling with mental health challenges. The program was coordinated by Thasneem Rahmathulla (Assistant Professor Adhoc, Department of Psychology).
