Buddy Project (a community outreach program)
On January 22, 2024 the Department of Psychology inaugurated the Buddy Project (a community outreach program) for differently abled children at the AC seminar hall. The event marked the beginning of a meaningful initiative aimed at fostering support and companionship for disabled children within the community. The chief guest Dr. C P Aboobackar (Retired Civil surgeon & physiatrist) introduced the project's goals and emphasized the positive impact it aims to create. The program was inaugurated by Manager O. Abdul Ali and presided over the Principal Professor Dr. Muhammad Basheer Ummathoor. The program was coordinated by Fathima Shirin K A (Assistant Professor Adhoc) & Fathima Shidha (Student, Second semester BSc Psychology)
