INVITED TALK ON "Actuarial Science & Professional Pathways"
The Department of Mathematics, KAHM Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri organised an invited talk on “Actuarial Science & Professional Pathways: Transforming Mathematical Aptitude into Global Financial Leadership” on 18 August 2026, from 1:40 PM to 3:40 PM at the Aryabhatta Seminar Hall.
The programme commenced with the Welcome Address by Jezeera P( Programme Coordinator ), followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. Abdul Rof V(H.O.D) and the Principal’s Address by Dr. Deepa, Principal in Charge.
Dr. T. P. Muhammed Fareed, Actuarial Professional, Financial Risk Expert, Mentor and Academician, delivered the keynote session. He provided valuable insights into actuarial science, financial risk management, career opportunities and professional pathways, highlighting the application of mathematical and analytical skills in finance, insurance and related fields.
The session was informative and beneficial for the students, helping them develop career awareness and motivation to explore professional opportunities related to mathematics, statistics and finance.
