Visit to CHMK Library- University of Calicut
On 9 th March 2023, the Department of Mathematics organized a visit to the CHMK Library,
University of Calicut, for the sixth semester BSc Mathematics students. The session aimed to
introduce the students to the concept of open resources and their significance in the field of
education.
The session covered various aspects of open resources, including open textbooks, open
educational resources, open access journals, and open data. The students were given a
demonstration of how to access and use these resources. They were also provided with
information on how to contribute to open resources and the benefits of doing so.
