Faculty Participation in National Young Scholars Meet
Dr. V. Hikmathulla V, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Malayalam, K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, participated in the National Young Scholars Meet organized by the Department of Sociology, Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, on 30th and 31st January 2026.
Dr. Hikmathulla V presented a paper titled “Mappila Songs and the Socio-Historical Landscape of Malabar,” which explored the rich cultural, social, and historical dimensions of Mappila songs and their significance in understanding Malabar’s social history. The presentation received appreciation from scholars and participants for its interdisciplinary approach and cultural insights.
