Field Visit Organized by Language Department (Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam)

As part of the MDC syllabus on Kerala Culture and Tradition, a field visit was organized by the Language Department of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, on 18th and 19th October 2025.The journey commenced at 6:00am on 18th October with a team of 47 students and 4 faculty members. The tour coordinator was Saidalavi.V (Assistant professor department of Arabic) who efficiently managed and guided the entire trip.The first destination was Enoor, a traditional and culturally rich place. The team then visited the Banasura Sagar Dam , the first soil dam in Kerala, where students learned about its historical and geographical significance.On the second day, the group visited Edakkal Caves , known for their ancient rock engravings, and the Karapuzha Dam The stay was arranged in a calm and quiet natural setting, providing students an opportunity to experience Kerala’s serene environment closely.Various cultural activities were conducted under the guidance of Noushad Ali Sir ( HOD And Assistant Professor department of Arabic) The students actively participated in all programs and showed great enthusiasm throughout the visit.The field trip was an enriching experience that deepened students’ understanding of Kerala’s heritage, culture, and natural beauty.Muhammed Jahangeer ( HOD And Assistant Professor department of Hindi), Arifa Beegum.K ( Assistant Professor department of Malayalam) They made the trip exciting.
