‘Aksharaprayanam’ Receives Enthusiastic Reception at Unity Women’s College

On October 23, 2024, K.A.H.M. Unity Women's College warmly welcomed 'Aksharaprayanam,' a cultural initiative under Malayala Manorama's 'Hortus' festival. The event was a collaborative effort between the Fine Arts Club and the Department of Malayalam, showcasing the college's commitment to cultural enrichment and literary pursuits.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed poet and writer P. Raman, who delivered the inaugural address. Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, the Principal of Unity Women’s College, extended a cordial welcome to the gathering, setting the tone for an inspiring day. The Manager of the college, Engineer O. Abdul Ali, and Assistant Professor Dr. V. Hikmathulla from the Department of Malayalam, also addressed the audience, sharing their insights and appreciation for the cultural initiative.
The program featured an array of captivating performances, including a vibrant flash mob and a competitive literary quiz that engaged the audience. The cultural flair continued with a poem recitation by Fatima Shafiya Kurikkal, whose words resonated with the crowd, and a classical dance performance by Parvathy, which added an artistic touch to the event.
