The PG Department of Home Science, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a Career Guidance Programme on HACCP Certification on 30 January 2026 at 2:30 PM in Aryabhatta Hall, in collaboration with the Engli5h Academy, Kozhikode. The programme aimed to create awareness among postgraduate and final year degree students about the importance of professional certification courses and its career prospects in the food and nutrition sector. The session was led by Mr. Rabeesh Bhaskaran, Director, Engli5h Academy, who served as the resource person. He provided detailed insights into food safety and HACCP  principles, certification procedures, scope in food industries, and employment opportunities at national and international levels. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Bushaira V., Assistant Professor (Adhoc), with student coordination by Ms. Ninsha M., IV Semester MSc Home Science. The session was informative and interactive, enabling students to gain practical knowledge and clarity about professional pathways related to food safety and quality assurance.
