Ruchi Bazaar: Earn While Learn Programme
As part of the Earn While Learn Programme, the post graduate students of the Department of Home Science organized “Ruchi Bazaar” on 23rd January 2026, near Wisdom Circle, from 12:10 pm to 2:00 pm. The programme aimed to equip students with entrepreneurial skills such as food preparation, marketing, customer interaction, while also enabling them to earn during their period of study.
The students prepared and sold a variety of food items including payasam, mojito, salted food items, snacks, puddings, panipuri, etc.The stall was visited by the teachers, non- teaching staffs, and students from various departments, and all the items were sold, making the event a grand success.
The programme was conducted by II Semester MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics)of the department of Home Science and coordinated by Ms. Aysha Thamanna KP, II Semester MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Lasna A, Assistant Professor (Adhoc), Department of Home Science. The successful conduct of Ruchi Bazaar effectively highlighted the role of the Earn While Learn Programme in promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurial skills among students.About 200 students,teaching staffs and non teaching staffs participated in the programme and made the event successfull.
