PG Project Proposal Presentation

  • 15 Dec / 2025

The PG Department of Home Science conducted the Project Proposal Presentation on 15th December 2025 at Ellen Hall. The programme was organized with the aim of providing a structured platform for postgraduate students to present, refine, and finalize their research project proposals. The objectives of the presentation were to enable students to clearly articulate the scope, objectives, and methodology of their proposed studies, to receive constructive feedback from faculty members, and to ensure that the research topics are academically sound and aligned with current scientific standards. The programme commenced with an introduction and welcome address by the Faculty Coordinator, Lt. Loosiya. KP, Assistant Professor (Adhoc), PG Department of Home Science. All the III Semester M.Sc. Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) students presented their project proposals before a panel comprising all faculty members of the department. The faculty members offered valuable suggestions, clarified research objectives, and provided methodological guidance to strengthen and refine the proposed studies. The presentation session was attended by the II Semester M.Sc. Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) students, which helped them gain insight into the research process and expectations for their upcoming project work. Ms. Ninsha M., III Semester M.Sc. Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics), served as the student coordinator for the programme. The outcome of the Project Proposal Presentation was the successful refinement and preliminary approval of student research topics and  enhanced understanding of research design among participants, thereby contributing positively to the overall quality of postgraduate research work in the department.
