ALISS PRE-SEMINAR WORKSHOP REPORT
The ALISS Seminar organized by Al Shifa College of Arts and Science College included a Pre Seminar Workshop held exclusively for the postgraduate students of the PG Department of Home Science at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. The workshop took place on 9th December 2025 at 11:00 am and saw the enthusiastic participation of 35 students.
The session was led by Ms. Sajla Mol, Head & Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Al Shifa College of Arts & Science. Adding significance to the event, Ms. Sajla Mol is also an alumna of the Department of Home Science, completed her BSc Family and Community Science (2009–2012) and MSc Home Science – Nutrition and Dietetics (2015–2017), making her presence especially motivating for the students.
The workshop aimed to prepare students for the forthcoming ALISS Seminar by guiding them on effective seminar preparation, presentation techniques, and academic standards. Ms. Sajla Mol shared valuable insights, practical tips, and professional experiences, ensuring that students gained confidence and clarity for their seminar work.
The PG Department of Home Science expressed appreciation to Ms. Sajla Mol for her enriching session and to all the participating students for their active involvement.
