As a part of the World Breastfeeding Week observed from August 1 to 7,the department of Home Science,KAHM Unity Women's College Manjeri,conducted Poster Making Competition on August 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm in Venue B 106, with the theme "Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems."The winners of the competition were Fathimathul Aslamiya, 5th semester BSc Family and Community Science, who bagged the first prize; Fathima Shafiya, 1st semester MSc Home Science, who secured the second prize; and Dhilna TP, 1st semester BSc Family and Community Science, who secured the third prize.The event was organized under the guidance of Staff Coordinator Mrs. Lasna A, Assistant Professor (Ad hoc), Department of Home Science and Student Coordinator Fathima Mehra.KT,1st semester MSc Home Science. The event successfully promoted awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and encouraged students to think creatively about supporting breastfeeding mothers.
