As part of the World Breastfeeding Week observed from August 1 to 7, the Postgraduate Department of Home Science at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized an interdepartmental quiz competition to raise awareness on the importance of breastfeeding. The programme was conducted on August 4th, 2025, at 2:30 PM in Room B106. Students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the competition, with a total of ten teams taking part. The event comprised two rounds. The first round included ten questions and it’s a screening round. Based on the scores from the first round, the top three teams qualified for the final round, which also include picture-based questions. After an engaging competition, Majida Nasrin and Rinsila Rinu from 2nd Year B.Sc. Chemistry, won the first prize in the event. The programme was efficiently coordinated by Mrs. Farsana Shirin K., Assistant Professor (Adhoc), PG Department of Home Science, and student coordinator Fathima Henana E., 1st Semester MSc. Home Science (Nutrition & Dietetics).
