As a part of the World Breastfeeding Week Celebration (August 1–7), the PG Department of Home Science organized a Lactogenic Food Exhibition on August 1, 2025, at 10:30 am in front of the Administrative Block. The event was conducted to raise awareness about the foods that enhance lactation and support breastfeeding mothers nutritionally. The exhibition featured a variety of locally available and culturally relevant lactogenic foods, along with their nutritional benefits. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from various departments visited the stall.The event was coordinated by faculty Coordinator, Mrs. Shahla K., Assistant Professor (Adhoc), PG Department of Home Science and Student Coordinator, Fathima Fidha K., I Sem MSc Home Science – Nutrition & Dietetics. The exhibition served as an effective platform to promote awareness about maternal nutrition and support breastfeeding initiatives through informed dietary choices.
