The PG Department of Home Science conducted an awareness class on World Hepatitis Day, 28th July 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Aryabhata Hall. This year’s Hepatitis Day carried the theme “Hepatitis Can’t Wait”, highlighting the urgency of awareness, prevention, and timely care.
As part of the program, a session on “Nutritional Strategies and Case Studies in Hepatitis Management” was delivered by Ms. Asiya Faheema M, Dietitian at IQRAA Hospital and Research Centre, Kozhikode. She shared valuable insights on the role of diet in managing various types of hepatitis and presented real-life case studies showcasing the positive impact of nutrition on recovery and liver health. 
The event was well coordinated by Ms. Asna V, Student Coordinator , 1st Sem M.Sc. Home Science(Nutrition and Dietetics) and Mrs. Shahla K, Assistant Professor (Adhoc), Department of Home Science.The interactive session was well received by students, significantly enhancing their understanding of hepatitis and the role of nutrition in its effective management.
