CAREER ORIENTATION PROGRAM
As part of department's commitment in providing students with industry relevant skills and knowledge , PG Department of Home Science conducted career orientation class on " Certifications for a Career in Food Safety " in association with ENGLI5H Academy Calicut, on 10/03/2025.
The objective was to introduce students to the course details, enrollment process, benefits and career opportunities upon completing the FSL4 and HACCP Level 3 courses.The FSL4 course focuses on Food Safety and Hygiene Practices while HACCP Level 3 deals with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point. The session commenced with the warm welcome address by Dr. Annie Ninan, Associate Professor and Head ,Department of Home Science. The orientation was successful in providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the course details and enrollment process. Farsina Sheril from 6th Semester B.Sc. FCS expressed her heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the clear explanation and instructions provided.
