Webinar on NutriCal
On 20th January, 2025, the PG Department of Home Science, in collaboration with NSR Nutri Edu Tech Solutions (P) Ltd. Delhi, conducted an online webinar titled 'NutriCal' for students of MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics). The webinar aimed to introduce participants to the NutriCal App, a tool for the calculation of nutrients in food, especially designed for dietitians, nutritionists, and research scholars.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Nikesh Kumar Jain, the Co-founder & Head of Innovation & Technology at NSR Nutri Edu Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.Delhi. During the session, Mr. Jain provided a comprehensive explanation and live demonstration of the NutriCal App. He discussed the app's features, focusing on its innovative design, precision, and efficiency in nutrient calculation. The tool was highlighted as a valuable asset for professionals in the field of nutrition, making their work more accurate and less time-consuming. The student coordinator Hasna MM of 2nd MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) and the faculty coordinator, FarsanaShirin K coordinated the programme.
