The World Blood Donor Day is observed on June 14 with an aim to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion. The theme for the 2022 World Blood Donor Day is ‘Donating blood is an act of solidarity, Join the effort and save lives’. The day is focused on drawing attention to the roles that voluntary blood donations play in saving lives and enhancing solidarity within communities.

PG Department of Home Science conducted a talk as part of World Blood Donor Day celebration on 14^th June 2022 at college auditorium. Ms Fathima K, IInd MSc Home Science student taken a class on importance blood transfusion to the students of various departments. Around 50 students were participated in the programme. And students displayed some charts in front of the hall.
