ScholarlyPath – Chapter II: Campus to Corporate

The PG Department of Computer Science, Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized the second chapter of ScholarlyPath – Bridging Students & Alumni, titled “Campus to Corporate,” on 25 February 2026 at Aryabhatta Hall.
The programme aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through direct interaction with alumni. The session was led by Ms. Mufeeda K, Assistant Professor at Jamia Nadwiyya Arts & Science College, Edavanna, and alumna of the 2016–2018 M.Sc. Computer Science batch. The event also introduced Offroco, an alumni-associated startup initiative, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Shihabul Haq M, Assistant Professor and HOD (in-charge), who highlighted the significance of alumni engagement in academic growth. The resource person conducted an interactive session on internship strategies and industry readiness, offering practical guidance on securing suitable internships and emphasizing technical skills, soft skills, continuous upskilling, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
The session witnessed active student participation and successfully equipped students with practical insights for transitioning from campus to corporate life. The event concluded positively, reaffirming the department’s commitment to strengthening alumni connections and enhancing industry preparedness.
