The PG Department of Computer Science KAHM Unity womens college organized the Inauguration of the Computer Science Association on 17 February 2026 at 1:30 PM in the college auditorium under the theme “AI for Students: Simple Tools, Big Impact.” The programme marked the official beginning of the association activities for the academic year.The session began with a warm welcome speech by Asst. Prof. Shameema PT, who welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the importance of AI in students’ academic growth. The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Shihabul Haq M, Association Coordinator, who encouraged students to actively participate in association programmes.The inauguration was officially performed by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. In his address, he emphasized the relevance of emerging technologies and motivated students to make effective use of AI tools.The Chief Guest, Dr. Shakeel Juman TP, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science, Amal College, Nilambur, delivered an insightful and informative talk on simple AI tools that can create a big impact in students’ learning and projects.The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Fathima Afra PP. The event was well-organized and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
