IoT Exhibition
An Internet of Things (IoT)–based exhibition titled Innovi8 2.0 was organized by Department of Computer Science at Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College on 2026 January 8 and 9. The exhibition was inaugurated by Manjeri MLA Adv. U. A. Latheef. The inaugural function was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Mohammed Basheer Ummathoor, Principal of KAHM Unity Women's College, and the keynote address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Shamsudheen E, Principal of Ambedkar College, Wandoor.
The event was addressed by Dr. Haris Ummath, Head of the Department of Computer Science; Shameema P. T., Staff Coordinator; Abdul Hakeem, IQAC Coordinator; Staff Secretaries Dr. Usman & Adam Thanari; and Ayisha Liyana, Student Union Chairperson. Sana K. M. served as the Student Coordinator of the exhibition and played a key role in the effective organization and execution of the event.
Students of Unity College, along with students from nearby colleges and higher secondary schools, visited the expo. In addition to the exhibition of IoT-based projects, several interactive stalls such as Digital Hunt, Code Debug, Hologram, Escape Room and Virtual Reality were arranged.
The expo was designed to help students easily understand emerging concepts in information and communication technology, as well as the impact of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and IoT in the modern world.
