TinkerHub Learning Activity Report: HTML Session – Web Design Study Jam

As part of the TinkerHub Web Design Study Jam initiative, an introductory session on HTML (HyperText Markup Language) was conducted on Friday, 25th July 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The session was led by Ms. Fathima Afra, Learning Coordinator of TinkerHub.The objective of the session was to equip students with a foundational understanding of HTML and to initiate them into the process of building a basic website. Key topics covered included HTML structure, commonly used tags, and creating simple web pages.The session witnessed active participation from students across various disciplines. It provided them with a clear starting point in web development and encouraged a hands-on approach to learning. This was the first learning activity organized by TinkerHub Unity, marking the beginning of its efforts to promote tech learning and peer-led knowledge sharing on campus.The Web Design Study Jam will continue with upcoming sessions focusing on CSS and JavaScript, helping students gradually build complete web designing skills.
