The Department of Computer Science organized a heartfelt farewell program to honor Mr. Rahib B, Head of the Department, for his dedicated service to the department and institution.
The program commenced with a prayer followed by a warm welcome speech by Mr. Shihabul Haq M. In the presidential address, Dr. Haris U shared the personal and professional journey of Mr. Rahib B, highlighting his growth, dedication and the values he stood for throughout his career.

The event was inaugurated by Adv. U A Latheef MLA, who appreciated Mr. Rahib’s efforts in shaping a strong academic culture. College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur described Mr. Rahib as a pillar of the department in his felicitation. Distinguished dignitaries including College Manager Er. O Abdul Ali and Dr. Muhammed Basheer KP, Principal of Amal College also delivered heartfelt speeches recognizing Mr. Rahib’s influence as an educator.

A touching moment came with the memento handover to Mr. Rahib B by the MLA symbolizing the collective gratitude of the department and college.

The current students of the department presented a video tribute, creatively capturing memories, messages and highlights of Mr. Rahib’s journey as a teacher. In her felicitation speech Ms. Shameema PT shared her appreciation and fond experiences with Mr. Rahib.

The event also featured a warm alumni feedback session, where former students recalled how Mr. Rahib’s guidance shaped their academic and personal growth. Alumni from various batches also presented tokens of love and appreciation to Mr. Rahib.

The program concluded with a heartfelt reply by Mr. Rahib B followed by vote of thanks.  

The event was smoothly coordinated by department staff members including Mr. Jasir, Ms. Swapna and Ms. Himna along with Technical Assistant Mr. Mahroof and Lab Assistant Ms. Shadiya, whose teamwork ensured the success of the program.
