Career Guidance Programme on “Career Prospects in Chemistry: Challenges and Future Opportunities”
The Department of Chemistry organized a Career Guidance Programme on “Career Prospects in Chemistry: Challenges and Future Opportunities” on 05-02-2026 with the aim of creating awareness among students about the diverse career avenues available in the field of chemistry. The session was delivered by Dr. Mujeeb Rahman, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode. He provided valuable insights into emerging opportunities in research, industry, academia, pharmaceuticals, environmental analysis, and other interdisciplinary areas. He also discussed the challenges faced by chemistry graduates in the competitive job market and emphasized the importance of skill development, higher education, internships, and research exposure.
