The Chemistry Association for the academic year 2025-26 was inaugurated on February 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Aryabhata Hall. The program began with an invocation seeking the blessings of the Lord Almighty. Dr. Deepa, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, delivered the welcome address. This was followed by the presidential address by Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. The association was formally inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. Muneeb Rahman, Associate Professor at Government Arts and Science College, Calicut. Mr. Muhammed Abdul Hakeem, IQAC Coordinator and Head of the Department of Physics, offered felicitations. After the formal proceedings, Dr. Rahman delivered an engaging talk titled "Quantum Insights into Bioinorganic Systems," highlighting the vast applications of quantum chemistry in bioinorganic research. Ms. Dilna C.H., Secretary of the Chemistry Association, concluded the event with the vote of thanks.
