'Wear the warmth' initiative
The Department of Chemistry at KAHM Unity Women's College successfully organized the 'Wear the warmth' initiative. The core objective of this community-centric program was to collect clean, useful, and unused dresses from the homes of students and faculty and to donate them to a deserving charitable trust, IMB Valiyettipparamb, Manjeri; thereby contributing to the welfare of the underprivileged in our community.
The students and faculty enthusiastically supported the drive. Dedicated collection points were set up, and the students, demonstrating immense social responsibility, brought in a substantial volume of neatly maintained attire suitable for various age groups. A rigorous sorting and quality check process was carried out by the organizing committee to ensure that all donated items were useful and in good condition, aligning with the department's commitment to quality and dignity.
