Parent–Teacher Association meeting

A Parent–Teacher Association meeting was held by the Research Department of Chemistry on 31st October 2025 at 2 p.m. in Room No. G-203 for the parents of I, III, and V Semester B.Sc. Chemistry students to discuss attendance, classroom behavior, and student performance in the centralized internal examinations conducted by the college. A total of 56 parents attended the meeting.The Head of the Department in charge, Dr. Deepa K, welcomed the gathering, e xpressed her gratitude to the parents for their active participation, and emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between parents and teachers to ensure better academic performance and student well-being. She introduced the faculty members to the parents and encouraged them to approach the faculty for any personal support their daughters may need. She requested the parents' cooperation and regular monitoring of attendance, regulation of mobile phone use, and ensuring focus during study leave. Faculty members provided updates on attendance, internal assessment marks, and classroom behaviour. Progress cards containing marks of internal exams and overall semester attendance were distributed to parents for review and signature. Parents shared their feedback and suggestions aimed at enhancing student discipline and participation in departmental programs.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by a faculty member. The meeting ended positively, reaffirming mutual cooperation between parents and the department for the overall progress of the students.
