The second talk of the International Webinar Series on Frontiers in Chemical Research (FCR 2025) was chaired by Dr. Thasnim P. The session featured Mr. Furhan Abdul Rezak, PhD Candidate at Institut pour L'Avancée des Biosciences / Département de Chimie Moléculaire, Université Grenoble-Alpes, France, as the distinguished resource person. He delivered an enlightening lecture on the topic “Self-Assembled Gold Nanoclusters for Biophotonic Applications”. His talk provided an in-depth overview of the design and self-assembly of gold nanoclusters, their remarkable optical properties, and their promising roles in biophotonic applications such as imaging, sensing, and therapeutics. In addition to the technical insights, he shared his inspiring research journey and experiences, offering valuable motivation to students. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants actively engaged with the speaker, followed by a formal vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Suhada K M.
