Industrial Visit: Mother Diary Patparganj
On 19th December 2024, as part of their industrial visit, students from the Chemistry
Department of K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, visited Mother Dairy in
Patparganj, Delhi. The students received a warm welcome from the staff and were guided
through the plant, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the process of token
milk production, including clarification, standardization, fortification, homogenization, and
pasteurization. A detailed video presentation further explained the journey of milk from
collection to its conversion into token milk. The students also learned about the chemistry
involved in testing milk for adulteration and were introduced to various other products under
the Mother Dairy brand. The visit provided an enriching and exploratory learning experience,
deepening their practical knowledge in the field.
