The Department of Chemistry organized an engaging and informative talk on "Nano Cellulose Scaffolds in Tissue Engineering" on 16th January 2025 from 2:50 PM to 3:40 PM in the Seminar Hall. The resource person for the session was Ms. Merin Sara, Research Scholar and proud alumna of the department (M.Sc. Chemistry, 2019-21 Batch). The session commenced with a warm welcome by the program coordinator, Ms. Suhada K.M., Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. Ms. Reema Nazar, the student coordinator and a 3rd-semester B.Sc. Chemistry student, played a vital role in organizing the event.
Ms. Merin Sara delivered an insightful presentation on the potential applications of nano cellulose scaffolds in tissue engineering. She highlighted the material's biocompatibility, sustainability, and versatility in biomedical applications. The session was well-received, with students gaining valuable knowledge about this cutting-edge research area. The event witnessed active participation from all students of the department, who appreciated the relevance of the topic and engaged in an interactive Q&A session.
